With a punchline derived from the broken bones in the fruits of my labors. You got my heart bound tight to a moving train headed straight for the edge of a cliff. The winds show no mercy as it pierces my breath into my weakened lungs. If i'm the end of the story, then your the preface that no one ever reads. A note to yourself to fullfill another forsaken void, and the words are stripped of their value in an instant. It's a thread so thin that i'm attached to. And the needle is so far deep in me. And everyday gets worse.

Carry me up to a quiet hill and remind me why you love me so. Family and friends are withering to make you grow. Their tears are what makes you grow. I'm just the pit of despair you've taken root in. It's not so you can sleep at night but an honest way to live my life.
